United’s impact
“One of the things I love most about United Theological Seminary is their dedication to the formation of pastoral leaders. A lot of work is put into you as an individual in order to help you learn how to thrive in your own ministry context. In focusing on the formation of pastoral leaders, United is able to balance the heady, academic side of things with the heart. Due to the availability of online distance-learning, I am able to apply that practically in my own ministry context, bringing together the head, the heart, and the hands in a unique way which I believe is fruitful for growth as a pastoral leader.”
The United difference
“I couldn’t list all of the things that I love about United without bringing up my extreme gratitude for the generous donors and financial staff at United for helping me be able to leave seminary debt-free, which I know is not the norm for most seminary graduates.”
Advice for future students
“If you want to develop yourself as a pastoral leader, if you want to hone your skills in bringing ‘plain truth to plain people,’ as John Wesley would say, then you should look deeply into what United has to offer because I do not believe that you will find this level of focus on doing just that anywhere but at United Theological Seminary.”
