Scriptural Holiness
We believe in the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit, who helps us to become Christ-like individuals and communities.
Church Renewal
We believe that renewal is the work of the Holy Spirit, who is always ready to lead the faithful in this redemptive activity.

Voices of United
United fosters an environment that welcomes thinkers and gently challenges our preconceptions about our faith. There is a deep respect for the ancient traditions of our faith, and these are presented as a foundation from which we can begin to explore presenting Christ to the local church and our communities.

I love that United develops the whole person; I experienced spiritual and intellectual growth and transformation throughout my time as a United student.

United is able to balance the heady, academic side of things with the heart. Due to the availability of online distance learning, I am able to apply that practically in my own ministry context, bringing together the head, the heart, and the hands in a unique way which I believe is fruitful for growth as a pastoral leader.

United has helped me to read the Bible and be relational with what I learn, effectively share it with others with empathy, and understand it more accurately within a cultural and historical context.

At United, I have been encouraged to think outside the box to bring the good news to a broken world that desperately needs the love of Jesus Christ. I believe my education has equipped me to be a better and more compassionate servant leader for such a time as this and I am thankful.

I was seeking a learning environment that offered a strong theological foundation and cultural diversity, while also offering flexible options for distance learners. United was all of that and so much more.

My time at United has been nothing less than miraculous. It’s not often that you can find a seminary that has high theological academic standards and a robust spiritual emphasis, but these two worlds that I love have been wonderfully combined at this school. Overall, I feel well- equipped and resourced for a life time of ministry because of my time here.

United reshaped my spiritual life and gave me a new taste for the ministry of the word.

My theological education at United pushed me to think deeply about what I believe and how I live it out as I lead others. It challenged me not only academically but also in how I disciple people, raise up leaders, and build a movement around tables and in communities.
