The Shepherd’s Fund is not currently receiving new applications. This is a temporary pause beginning August 7, 2026.
NOTE: Individuals with already approved applications remain active participants in the program. Approved applicants will be able to continue submitting follow-up requests.
Elders who are leading well should be admired and valued. Double up on the honor shown them; care for them well – especially those constantly and consistently teaching the word and preaching.

Through The Shepherds Fund, United alumni/ae or their spouses may qualify for a single assistance grant of up to $10,000 in a calendar year. They are also eligible to receive the grant in subsequent years, especially in the event of chronic, ongoing medical conditions. This grant can be received for up to three years with a lifetime maximum of $25,000.
