“I was called to ministry at age eleven and knew then that I wanted to go to seminary. After trying out two different schools in my twenties, I decided I wasn’t ready and headed into full-time ministry. At thirty-nine I still hadn’t gone to seminary, and I thought that it would probably never happen — that is, until I found United. United not only gave me the ability to take classes in person but online as well, which, as a full-time minister, husband, and dad, was a blessing. My wife and I prayed about making this dream come true and for me to graduate debt free. Because of generous donations to United and denominational scholarships, I was able to attend seminary and graduate without owing anything. United has been a wonderful experience for me and I look forward to continuing to be involved as an alumnus.”
