Rev. Sue Nilson Kibbey and Rev. Dr. Rosario Picardo’s guide on “breakthrough prayer” available on August 23, 2022.

Dayton, OH, August 22, 2022 — Rev. Sue Nilson Kibbey, Director of the Bishop Bruce Ough Innovation Center, and Rev. Dr. Rosario Picardo, Director of Houses of Study, have recently co-authored a new resource to help Christians rethink and reinvigorate their prayer lives by shifting focus to the miraculous new possibilities God has in store for them.

Dynamite Prayer: A 28 Day Experiment is a daily devotional and prayer guide centered around breakthrough prayer, a form of Spirit-fueled prayer that calls upon God’s unlimited power for fresh inspiration and supernatural transformation. The guide aims to help readers establish an ongoing breakthrough prayer habit, beginning with a 28-day challenge to introduce the practice into their daily lives.

Each of the 28 days outlined in the book contains:

  • A Scripture-based meditation on how the Spirit is still at work in the world and in the lives of individuals today
  • Reflection questions
  • A daily breakthrough prayer
  • A prayer word or phrase to help make breakthrough prayer part of each moment

“We pray that God would use this resource to impact individuals, groups, churches, leaders, districts, and conferences,” says Rev. Dr. Picardo. “We pray for a miraculous breakthrough no matter who utilizes this vital resource. And we look forward to hearing anyone report what God does in this prayer experiment to dynamiteprayer.com.”

The challenge is designed for small groups, entire congregations, or anyone who wants to increase their faith and experience life-changing breakthroughs with this simple yet powerful form of prayer. Proceeds from the book will go to support the Bishop Bruce Ough Innovation Center at United Theological Seminary.
