"United met me at a crossroads academically, spiritually and vocationally. Coming in with a deep COGIC foundation, I needed a space that would sharpen what God had already placed in me rather than replace it in totality. United did just that. Through coursework in pastoral care, theology, and contextual ministries, and my favorite, Christian Spirituality, I’ve been equipped to think rigorously about suffering, calling, and the care of souls. Through the teachings in Intro to New Testament and Old Testament, I’ve learned how to read scripture with purpose and not be afraid to ask the challenging or scary questions. United has given me a new perspective and confidence as I journey on in this Christian path.
