Dr. Peter J. Bellini is Professor of Church Renewal and Evangelization in the Heisel Chair and Director of the Fire Academy at United Theological Seminary. He teaches courses in church renewal, evangelization, Pentecostal-Charismatic theology, pastoral care and counseling, interreligious and intercultural encounter, and philosophical
foundations for a Christian worldview. Dr. Bellini is an interdisciplinary theologian researching, teaching, and writing at the intersection of theology, philosophy, and the sciences. He has authored a dozen books in these areas. Dr. Bellini introduced the Holy Spirit Seminar at United in 2011 and established the Fire Academy in 2023 to offer additional Spirit-filled teaching opportunities for clergy and laity. Dr. Bellini is an ordained elder in the Allegheny West Conference of the Global Methodist Church and has been in ministry for over 37 years. He is a noted, leading authority in the area of deliverance and exorcism.

It is the fastest growing and one of the largest expressions of Christianity in the Majority world and in the Global South. Due to its source, growth, size, influence and impact, it is a movement that deserves to be examined and experienced.
