“United Theological Seminary fulfilled the prophecy of my great grandfather. His progeny were to become doctors doing justice and serving humanity through prophetic activism. As a doctor of the church, I live for social justice to which Jesus Christ calls his followers and the premise upon which Samuel DeWitt Proctor founded the [Doctor of Ministry] program. I am grateful to continue this spiritual legacy from my great grandfather, the seminary, and the church.”
