Search me, O God, and know my heart. — Psalm 139

Instability and change have rocked our world and ministries over the past two years. The external and internal noise in our lives can seem unending and keeps us from connecting with God. It’s important that we make intentional space to know and be fully known by the Lord. On July 29 you are invited to a silent retreat at United as an opportunity to be still in the presence of God, free from distraction and the frantic pace of life. It’s a time to practice the spiritual discipline of silence and allow the Holy Spirit to search our hearts and thoughts. God wants to be made known to us, renew us and lead us on the way everlasting (Psalm 139:24). Register today!

The retreat, centered around Psalm 139, will include:

  • opening and closing worship with eucharist
  • a printed guide for silence and journaling
  • soaking prayer time with music
  • optional one-on-one prayer time
  • an optional spiritual direction session with a certified spiritual director
  • “checking” your phone at the registration table
  • lunch and refreshments
