Burn the Mortgage:
Who was part of a spiritual breakthrough in your life?
Who impacted your faith in such a meaningful way that you were never the same again?
United wants to help you celebrate those men and women as we look toward a breakthrough moment in the life of the seminary. Would you consider a gift to burn the mortgage in honor or memory of that spiritual mentor or person who led you to Christ?
Thanks to some generous donors, all new gifts to the campaign will be doubled in the final year of the campaign. Your gift of any size counts. In honor of our 150th in October, many are giving a gift with a 1, 5 and 0 in it.

Giving So Far
$3.97 Million Goal
The Seminary is so close to a breakthrough moment.
In November 2016, United began a campaign to become debt free. A mortgage balance of $3.97 million was costing the seminary $400,000 per year in principal and interest payments. We wanted to invest that money in scholarships for students instead, so we embarked on an ambitious goal to pay off the mortgage and become debt free by United’s 150th anniversary on October 11, 2021.
Every dollar contributes to a breakthrough moment, not just for the seminary, but for future leaders to come. As United becomes debt free, more dollars are available for scholarships, which means students graduate with less debt and more freedom to follow the Lord’s call.
