Jorge Acevedo based on his forthcoming book, Everybody Needs Some Cave Time: Meeting God in Dark Places (Invite Resources), releasing later this month. book cover with title "Everybody Needs Some Cave Time: Meeting God in Dark Places"

How does a spiritual leader lead during dark times? In his newest book, the foundation of this webinar, Rev. Acevedo explores the dark places in our lives and ministries. In “caves” of anger, fear, depression, temptation or hopelessness, God wants to meet you where you are and transform you. Whether the cave you encounter is a hiding place or a holy place depends on you.

A copy of Everybody Needs Some Cave Time: Meeting God in Dark Places is included in every webinar registration (mailed to you following the book’s January 31 release date). Invite your team, small group, class or leadership council, and register online at united.edu-innovation-center.

Rev. Acevedo is lead pastor at Grace Church, a multi-site congregation in Cape Coral, Florida. Under Rev. Acevedo’s leadership, Grace Church has grown its attendance from 300 to over 2,700 and is recognized as having one of the largest and most effective recovery ministries in America. In recognition of Rev. Acevedo’s 27 years of leadership through creative, innovative ministries at Grace Church, Dr. Kent Millard, president of United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, will present Rev. Acevedo with an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree on Sunday, January 15, 2023.
