The Pulpit and the Pew Becoming the Voice for Civil and Human Rights

This program will provide instruction, education, and assistance in advocacy of civil rights and human rights from the pulpit to the pew, through the church and ministries of the church galvanizing the community to collectively raise their voices to effect public policy, proposed laws, future elections, and persons who will represent the community for the good of all humankind.

Projects will explore how to educate voters on current and proposed policies, platforms for candidates for elected office, and the needs of the persons in the communities at large. Projects will explore how to increase voter education, voter registration, voter turn-out, and community involvement in elections and the election process.
