Spirituality and Aging: Enabling a Life of Significance
Peggy Garrison, Richard Haid, Emma Justes, Richard Morgan
Aging is a common experience. The focus of this group is to explore all aspects of aging, from the time people recognize they are aging until their death. The hope is to discover and resource transforming ministries that enable lives of significance. Students will identify areas of research with the aging, will explore concepts, possibilities and resources that lead to new levels of ministry. Potential areas of interest include: changing family relationships, end of life issues, enriching retirement, protirement, experiencing wisdom years, claiming new gifts, handling grief and loss, and self-identity issues.
