Phyllis Ennist M.Ed. - Assistant Dean of Distance Education with United Theological Seminary has worked in higher education and distance education for over 12 years. She serves on the Technology in Theological Education Group in Faculty Development. She has taught online courses over the past seven years, courses like “Web Design and Digital Ministry.” She has been an instructional designer and media technologist in training and development for online instructors. The last five years of her career has been spent in management of online and distance programs, winning awards, and planning for quality of courses and assessment. She has served on committees for institution wide planning in assessment and helped in the advisement of an assessment management tool with Angel LMS. She has a certificate in Accessible Information Technology from University of Southern Maine to adapt and promote accessibility for all individuals in online education. Her passion is finding ways to help others have access to learning that will transform their life.
