Peter teaches in the areas of Missiology, Evangelization, Church Renewal, Global Christianity, Interreligious and Intercultural Encounter, and Urban Studies. His special interests are renewal movements, prayer movements, discipleship, church planting and church turnarounds, postmodernism, and philosophical theology, specifically the intersection of ontology, epistemology and missional theology.

Peter is an ordained Elder in the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church and has served in urban ministry for over 25 years. He has been a leader in every facet of ministry, including new church starts, church turnarounds, mergers, local church renewal, discipleship and leadership training, inner city and global missions and several marketplace ministries. Peter is married to Mariuccia. They have one son Pietro Aaronne and one daughter Paola Arianna. In his spare time, Peter enjoys watching, playing and coaching a wide variety of sports.
