Michael Porterfield

Michael Porterfield is a Ph.D. candidate in teaching and learning at the University of Missouri. He has practical experience as an instructor and administrator in educational software and has coordinated and conducted webcam conferences locally and internationally. He is also Director and Instructor of Instructional Technology at Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis. In this position and also at St. Joseph’s Academy, he develops and enhances the faculty learning community by integrating technology into the curriculum, conducts training sessions on latest educational technology with faculty,staff and students, and works with faculty to enhance their distant-learning programs. He also serves as an instructor in multimedia, computers and the Internet in education.
