1 | What Do You Like Most about Teaching at United?
The students! They are motivated, they come from different backgrounds, and they bring new perspectives to the material that I teach. I always learn something new from students in every class.
2 | Tell Us about A Significant Project You’ve Worked on Outside of Teaching for United.
I recently traveled to Leuven, Belgium, to present a paper at the European Colloquium and gave a plenary address to the Catholic Biblical Association in Los Angeles. I am also writing the Anchor Yale Bible Commentary on Joshua for Yale University Press.
3 | Any Advice for Current and Incoming Students?
My advice for students is to come to come to seminary with an open, yet critical, mind. You only go to seminary once, make the most of your time with us.
