Christian Education: Faith & Community Development

The intent of this focus group is to expand the umbrella of Christian Education beyond the development of Sunday school classes or topical classes designed to offer new information.  Each member of this focus group will learn how Christian Education can be a primary means of faith and community development.  Each will experience growth through current methodologies and concepts of adult education.  Each will develop a comprehensive, integrated approach, based upon individual interests and contextual opportunities, using Christian Education as a particular means of faith and community development.  Classroom experiences will provide exposure to current adult Education theory and practices and their connections to spiritual growth and development.  The cohort will experience individual and group support and reflection toward developing, perfecting and implementing individual approaches.
